Murray Utah is sometimes called the “hub of Salt Lake County”, because of its central location and historical involvement with transportation by rail. Today Murray can boast of three TRAX Stations along the main Salt Lake line anchoring New Home and Condominium developments. When high speed rail links to Murray Central Station in the early 2000s Murray will once again be a transportation hub for Salt Lake City.
New Home development has been concentrated around these TRAX locations, and Condominiums in Murray Utah provide a large number of new construction homes. Because of limited land parcels, Murray has a dormant population of about 45,00 people living in about 13000 houses and condominiums and rental units. Murray generally has about 250 homes listed for sale, over 40% of those Murray Homes are Condos. In Murray UT only about 10% of the Homes for Sale are Short sales or distressed homes.
